Public Works General Labor

Entry-level Public Works Maintenance Worker responsible for assisting with road and bridge repairs, paving, posting signs, debris clearing, and other maintenance tasks. Duties include loading materials, delivering to work sites, assisting with repairs or paving, keeping work sites and vehicles clean, and maintaining inventories. Must be able to operate hand tools and light machinery, read instructions and schedules, perform basic math, and work well in a team while providing courteous service to the public. Requires ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds; preferred High School Diploma or Equivalency. Valid Georgia Driver’s License required.
