Public Works Director

Public Works Director role in the City of Umatilla, Oregon. Responsible for leading the Public Works Department, including engineering, streets, water, sewer, stormwater, irrigation, solid waste, parks, facilities, and fleet operations; overseeing emergency response for snow, ice, flooding, and severe weather. Leads major capital investments, regional water strategy initiatives, infrastructure expansion, and organizational modernization. Reports to the City Manager; operates within a Council-Manager form of government; manages a multi-division team and significant annual budget to support growing city needs and long-range infrastructure plans.
