Job Summary
Lead a public works crew in tasks such as mowing grass, digging, repairing sewer lines with equipment (backhoe, dump truck, tractor, weed eater, mower); assign work areas, ensure safety compliance; supervise landscaping (planting, mulching, pruning, watering); locate and repair sewer problems; inspect and repair equipment; perform minor repairs to water/sewer lines; mow, trim, and maintain assigned property; complete required area paperwork; attend safety classes and follow ESG safety policies; coordinate with ESG employees and the public.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- valid state driver’s license
- ability to read and write simple sentences; basic grammar
Desired Qualifications
- four years of progressively responsible work experience in the Public Works Industry; any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
