Job Summary
Review federal and multi-state tax returns, research fundamental tax issues using online tools, and perform general accounting duties as needed on engagements. Train and mentor Staff Accountants while communicating professionally with managers, partners, and clients. Support engagements within the growing Richmond tax practice in Nashville, TN. This detail-oriented role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with three years of public accounting experience and strong review skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA certification or active progress toward licensure
- 3+ years of public accounting experience
- Strong review experience
- Proficiency with spreadsheet tools
- Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills with a sense of urgency
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- experience with ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, or Engagement
