Job Summary
Clean and maintain the hotel lobby, meeting space, public restrooms, and surrounding areas including sidewalks, awnings, and signage. Perform deep cleaning tasks such as shampooing rooms, window washing, light fixture cleaning, and elevator maintenance. Manage back-of-house areas like the break room, laundry room, and compactor zone while checking and replenishing supplies. Greet guests professionally and respond promptly to requests, adhering to procedures for room entry and lost-and-found protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience
- related training
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to regularly stand
- Ability to regularly walk
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
