Job Summary
Lead ElevenLabs engagement with government bodies and officials across Europe, focusing on AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, and digital rights. Build relationships with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and civil society groups to monitor emerging regulations and advise leadership on their business implications. Represent the company at conferences to advance public policy goals and promote government adoption of ElevenLabs products in partnership with GTM. Define and implement policy campaigns that shape frameworks for responsible AI use while supporting internal policy development for Legal, Safety, and Security teams. This role supports regional public sector partnerships and government affairs efforts within a fast-paced startup environment, with offices available in Warsaw or London.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience in public and private sector (in-house, firm) policy roles, with a focus on AI and tech
- Strong knowledge of the regional AI policy landscape, including general AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and digital rights
- Demonstrated success in designing, advocating for, and influencing policy outcomes, as well as coalition building
- Public policy experience across Europe
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including when briefing government officials and other policymakers
- Fluency in English
