Job Summary
As Vice President, Public Sector Operations Control Manager, own the end-to-end control environment, identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks; drive disciplined execution of the control framework, manage issue remediation, and monitor control performance through deep-dives and thematic reviews. Serve as the primary first-line contact for internal audit, compliance testing, and regulatory engagement preparation; collaborate with operations leadership to embed controls into process design and change initiatives; support audit and regulatory readiness with documentation and orchestrated responses; explore opportunities for automation and standardization to improve reliability. Travel up to 15% domestically. In this role, you will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain audit readiness, and provide strong executive-level communication with senior stakeholders. Requires U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent status and a bachelor’s degree, with at least 8 years in related control/audit/risks roles and the ability to obtain required security clearances.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent status required for US Federal government contracts
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Control Management, Operational Risk, Audit, Compliance, or related roles
- Experience in designing and assessing control frameworks; leading remediation
- Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders
- Security Clearance Requirement: Government security clearance and background checks as applicable
- Ability to travel domestically up to 15%
