Public Safety Telecommunicator

Dispatcher role responsible for receiving emergency calls and dispatching police, fire, and EMS using CAD and multi-channel radio/paging consoles; must process information quickly and accurately, observe laws and department policies, and coordinate emergency responder resources; requires strong customer service, clear radio/telephone communication, map/geography knowledge, and ability to remain calm under stress; high school diploma or GED and 3+ years’ experience (or equivalent) and a valid driver’s license are required.
