Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, and repair automotive electrical systems in police, fire, and EMS vehicles. Configure, mount, and integrate Whelen lighting, siren, and control systems to meet agency specifications. Perform diagnostics using multimeters, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer software tools. Collaborate with fleet managers and public safety officials to ensure vehicles meet operational and compliance standards. Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work performed. Stay current on new Whelen product lines, installation techniques, and safety protocols. Apply proven experience in automotive electrical systems, including wiring, relays, and control modules, with hands-on knowledge of Whelen products. Requires a valid driver's license and ability to work on-site in a shop or field environment.
