Job Summary
Maintain and troubleshoot simulators, audiovisual systems, and support equipment in the Immersive Interactive room, performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and configuration updates. Create custom scenarios for training sessions, prepare facilities and mannequins for educational use, and monitor equipment performance and safety certifications. Serve as a point of contact for vendors to manage upgrades and supply organization while assisting instructors with equipment usage. Support internal and external training sessions, tours, and events by operating live simulation-based training systems and tracking utilization statistics. Collaborate with Public Safety and Instructional Technology staff to ensure operational functionality.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in related field
- Four years related work experience
- Ability to contribute to a team environment while maintaining positivity and professionalism
- Strong customer service skills and a focus on creative problem-solving
- Time management skills that demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Ability to be detail oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Ability to obtain driver's license and insurance coverage in accordance with College policy
