Public Safety - Public Safety Officer

To provide for the safety and security of all University community members, to provide for the physical security of University property, and to enforce University rules and regulations. Patrol University properties via foot, bicycle, or vehicle; provide a dedicated security presence at an assigned post; perform dispatcher duties as required; enforce policies and procedures within the University community; submit incident reports in a timely manner; interact professionally with the University community and external partners; respond to and investigate incidents or emergencies; provide public safety services including personal safety escorts and door unlocks; enforce parking rules; work various shifts and potentially overtime; required to maintain physical fitness and operate in a range of environments from routine to emergency situations.
