Job Summary
The Public Safety Officer ensures the safety of patients, caregivers, and visitors at St. Charles Health System by performing secure transport, emergency response, monitoring security systems, coordinating officer activities, and complying with various safety regulations and protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain DPSST Armed/Unarmed Professional certification within 90 days of hire
- AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire
- Valid Oregon driver’s license and ability to meet SCHS driving requirements
- Ability to pass all phases of the initial 6–8-week new officer training curriculum
