Job Summary
Provide safety services for the college community, focusing on the protection of students, staff, and college property. Responsibilities include maintaining a visible armed presence, completing necessary certifications in firearms and other defensive tools, providing exceptional customer service, assisting supervisors, conducting follow-up investigations, preparing incident reports, and acting as a first responder for emergencies. Qualifications include a high school diploma, various certifications, strong organizational and leadership skills, and a minimum of two years of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- PA State Act 235 Certification (Firearms) required
- Valid driver's license
- Completion and annual renewal CPR/ AED certification
- Minimum two years public safety, law enforcement or other related experience and/or training required
