Job Summary
Public Safety Officer at New Bedford Community Health. Part-time role with flexible availability Monday–Friday, plus potential Saturday rotations. Responsibilities include responding to emergencies within 2–3 minutes, opening/locking the Health Center, escorting visitors and personnel, reporting incidents, accepting deliveries and distributing medications, assisting with maintenance/housekeeping, monitoring entrances in inclement weather, proficient radio communication, and understanding emergency systems. Requires high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of security or law enforcement experience; physical ability to stand/walk and lift up to 75 pounds; willingness to work various shifts to ensure full coverage. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; at least one year experience in law enforcement and/or security management.
