Public Safety Officer responsible for patrolling university buildings and grounds by radio-equipped cars, on foot, and bicycles to deter theft, trespass, vandalism, and violations of General Statutes and university regulations; enforce parking regulations and coordinate towing; respond to motor vehicle accidents and medical emergencies in accordance with proper safety procedures; supervise officer trainees and assist in professional development; participate in dispatch operations and traffic control; promote safe and secure working conditions and report unsafe conditions; flexibility to cover various shifts and duties as assigned.
