Job Summary
Conduct scheduled rounds inside and outside assigned areas, responding to calls from nursing and hospital departments in a timely manner. Provide assistance to security personnel, hospital staff, and visitors while transporting patients using wheelchairs or assistive devices. Observe and document policy non-conformance, accurately complete required paperwork, and manage patient valuables and lost-and-found items per policy. Accept and release items as needed and respond to requests for additional manpower during shift shortages. Demonstrate discretion when handling confidential information. This full-time role (2:30pm–11pm) includes an on-call rotation and welcomes new graduates. Community First Medical Center offers United Healthcare medical plans, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited program
- Must be 21 years old+
- Superior interpersonal skills
- Team Player
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Desired Qualifications
- Highly prefer experience in a healthcare environment
- Behavioral Health experience
