Job Summary
Manage Security, Loss Prevention, Risk Management, and Parking Lot departments by conducting accident investigations, inspecting for hazards, and handling litigation claims as the Park's liaison with attorneys and insurers. Interpret and update safety compliance manuals, maintain use-of-force review records, and coordinate emergency response simulations with local, county, state, and federal agencies. Develop training programs, manage department budgets, and serve as a guest service ambassador to resolve concerns. This full-time role requires an OSHA 30 certification, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Starting pay is $67,000 with a quarterly 401K match up to 5%, free passes for family and friends, and free admission to regional attractions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement, Business, related field, or equivalent work experience
- OSHA 30 certification
- Strong background in Security and/or police operations
- In-depth knowledge of Georgia and Cobb County ordinances and law enforcement guidelines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under high-pressure emergencies
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a team-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Valid driver's license
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to stand, walk, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel and lift up to fifty pounds occasionally
- Will be required to work various shifts as project and park needs dictate, including nights, weekends and holidays
