Public Relations Officer

Public Relations Officer at Veolia Hong Kong Holding Limited, based in Tuen Mun, responsible for fostering positive community relations, promoting a positive image of safe operations, and managing a community outreach plan. Responsible for publicity and education on the waste management structure, system, and extension project details, and for developing/updating relevant educational materials. Executes community outreach projects, arranges site visits, and assists with public consultations. Manages the project complaint hotline, liaises with stakeholders on concerns, monitors and follows up on issues/complaints, and resolves crises during project phases. Prepares documents, drawings, and presentations for public consultations, attends consultations to respond to queries, and maintains the project website. Develops and maintains the Public Relation Plan and prepares monthly reports on programs and issues. Requirements include Higher Diploma or above in Communications/ Environmental Management, Sustainability, Business or related disciplines; Construction Safety (Green Card) Training; at least 2 years of experience in public relations; relevant experience in civil/structural/E&M construction sites preferred; NGO or industry association experience advantageous; strong skills in organization, communications, and presentation; meticulous, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently; proficiency in MS Office / Google applications.
