Job Summary

Public Relations Officer for Baltimore's Office of Equity and Civil Rights supporting the CRRF program coordination, community engagement, and public information. Responsibilities include coordinating CRRC meeting preparation and follow-up, serving as liaison to the Maryland Office of Social Equity, collecting and analyzing program data, developing outreach materials, coordinating with City agencies and external partners, maintaining the CRRC public transparency portal, and producing presentations and briefing documents to communicate program updates and impact to Baltimore residents, with a focus on communities disproportionately affected by cannabis prohibition enforcement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in political science, public administration, human services, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in program coordination, administrative support, community engagement, public administration, communications, or related work
  • Experience working with historically underserved communities and facilitating equity focused initiatives
  • Experience supporting public programs, commissions, boards, or community-based initiatives preferred
