Job Summary
Lead strategic public relations plans to secure high-impact earned media for Lam Research’s corporate focus areas and industry-leading products; develop messaging and content for complex technical topics (press releases, messaging, contributed articles, pitches) and coordinate with international PR and product groups to ensure a unified external voice; collaborate with Corporate Communications teammates to execute cross-channel communications and support executive thought leadership; manage relationships with media and stakeholders, and drive multiple projects with urgency in a fast-paced environment; travel up to 10% and operate in a hybrid on-site/remote work model in Fremont, CA or Tualatin, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English or similar
- 5-7 years of public relations or corporate communications experience in multinational public companies
- Proven media relations skills with business press and technical trade press
- Strong writing skills with ability to distill complex technical messaging
- Experience collaborating with executives and technology thought leaders on media opportunities
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Experience in the semiconductor industry is highly preferred
- U.S. residency requirement for employment in Fremont, CA or Tualatin, OR
