Job Summary

Support day-to-day PR activities and projects across the Jackson Family Wines portfolio, managing wine acclaim databases, media coverage, and critic submissions to key publications. Coordinate tastings, sample logistics, and hospitality arrangements for visiting media while monitoring assigned inboxes and utilizing Meltwater for reporting. Assist with drafting pitches, gathering editorial calendars, and compiling PR results for leadership. Contribute ideas for storytelling and influencer programs, support event planning and execution, and aid in department budget management. Based in Santa Rosa, CA, this role requires 2–3 years of PR experience and strong organizational skills within a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in public relations, communications, an agency environment, or a related field
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
  • Proactive, resourceful, and willing to jump in and take ownership of getting things done
  • Strong follow-through and a high level of accountability
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team
  • Strong working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable working with data, databases, reporting, and administrative systems
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for public relations, media, storytelling, and communications
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and no two days are exactly the same
  • Positive attitude, strong sense of humor, and an appreciation for a team that works hard and enjoys working together
  • This position is based in Santa Rosa, CA

Desired Qualifications

  • Interest in wine and enthusiasm for learning more about the wine industry; knowledge of the industry and distribution landscape, including DTC and the three-tier system, is a plus
  • Experience coordinating events, travel, or other logistics is a plus
