Job Summary
Coordinate community relations, sponsorships, and events while representing the bank as a brand ambassador. Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and public statements; monitor media coverage and community reputation. Manage social media calendars and channels, creating content for websites, email campaigns, and marketing materials to ensure consistent brand voice. Draft internal communications and presentations to engage employees, ensuring all messaging aligns with core values and banking regulations. Collaborate with bank-wide departments to promote services and financial education. This role supports product launches and community initiatives, requiring flexibility for seasonal evening and weekend events. Travel is primarily regional between branch offices and event locations.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or related field
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong storytelling and content development abilities
- Ability to translate complex financial topics into clear, engaging content for various audiences
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and/or confidentiality as required
- Flexibility of schedule to meet business needs, including seasonal evening and weekend events
