Job Summary
Conduct credit, criminal, and database background checks using telephone and electronic verification processes to ensure timely candidate hiring decisions. Research and verify facts provided by candidates and clients, interview professional referees to confirm employment history, and communicate tactfully to obtain missing information or clarify details. Maintain accurate records of screening actions, produce client reports aligned with service level agreements, and collaborate with teams to keep clients informed of issues. Ensure all actions comply with Data Protection legislation while meeting department quality and productivity targets. This hybrid role (3 days onsite) is located in Nashville, TN, Tulsa, OK, or Chapin, SC.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- College Degree preferred
- Computer literate with specific experience of using Microsoft Office and email proficiently
- Confident with telephone communications, including chasing for information whilst maintaining good clients/candidates relations but robustly to be able to close tasks off
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to communicate written and verbally in English with fluency and in a polite way
- This is hybrid role (3 days onsite)
