Job Summary

Public Programs Specialist to plan and implement family-focused, multigenerational and exhibition-focused programs (e.g., Family Days, exhibition openings, film screenings) for Newfields and affiliated venues. Responsibilities include budgeting and financial tracking, drafting and reviewing contracts, coordinating logistics (marketing work orders, ticket requests, travel for performers/speakers, on-site facilitation), coordinating partner relationships, and building community engagement with artists and organizations. Requires strong written communication, Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency, event coordination, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. A Bachelor's degree in arts, museum studies, hospitality or communications plus 2 years of program experience (or 4 years in related programming) and a valid driver’s license are required.
