Job Summary
Public Policy & Government Relations Manager for Mozilla UK remote role. Lead end-to-end policy campaign development and execution on issues such as privacy, competition, and AI in the UK, with coordination at EU level. Engage UK policymakers, regulators, and civil society; raise Mozilla’s profile and provide expert policy guidance to product and engineering teams on public policy implications of new products. Build, represent, and communicate Mozilla’s policy perspectives through events, thought leadership, and coordinated advocacy with external partners; monitor regulatory developments and translate complex technical concepts into clear policy insights. Manage policy-related projects end-to-end with timelines, deliverables, and external partners. Reports to Head of Public Policy EU.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5 years of experience working on technology policy
- Demonstrated experience in the UK policy environment (e.g. UK Government, Westminster, CMA, ICO) with familiarity with EU policy processes
- Excellent cross-functional and stakeholder management skills; ability to drive campaigns and advocacy initiatives
- Strong policy writing, research, and analysis abilities for decision-makers
- Experience in competition and privacy policy; exposure to civil society/non-profit tech environments preferred
