Job Summary
PKI Local Registration Authority for a potential contract to support the Department of the Navy (DON) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Services. Responsible for identity vetting for users with SECRET clearance and need for a SIPRNet token; ensure Trusted Agent (TA) designations and training; manage registration authority functions including identity proofing, certificate issuance, revocation, suspension, restoration, and key recovery; collect, verify, and enter information for public key certificates; register TAs at local command locations and assist users with downloading DoD certificates onto tokens; maintain token management documentation and spreadsheets; enroll users and issue SIPRNet PKI certificates on DoD tokens within 5 working days; access external databases to support certificate issuance and verification.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC) characteristics and CAC/Smart card operation and procedures to include CAC middleware and hardware, with a least one-year experience
- Familiar with DoD 8520.02, Public Key Infrastructure and Public Key Enabling
- Skilled verbal and written communication techniques required to conduct meetings, and prepare reports and other correspondence
- Must be able to work independently
- Possess analytical processing skills
- Previously designated as LRA or worked as a DoD PKI TA for at least 1 year
