Public Health Registered Nurse: Immunization and Communicable Disease

Provide comprehensive, unbiased nursing care across Delta County Health Department’s public health programs with a focus on immunizations, communicable diseases, child health and supporting family planning services to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality community health services. Responsibilities include health assessments, administering vaccines and medications, TB and communicable disease investigations, care planning and coordination for children and families, program management and grant reporting, community education and outreach, HIPAA-compliant documentation, epidemiological investigations, off-site clinic oversight, and collaboration with team members to support disaster preparedness and overall clinic operations. Must have an Associate’s degree in nursing, Colorado RN license, and BLS; experience with AthenaOne EHR is preferred; willingness to travel locally and perform some duties off-site as required; 0.8–1.0 FTE depending on schedule.
