Public Health Principal responsible for supporting development and delivery of organisation-wide health protection strategy and policies in a public health setting; provide expert clinical public health advice aligned with statutory requirements and best practice; inform senior leaders and partners of high-risk incidents and emerging threats; maintain knowledge of national policy and embed best practice across teams and partners; contribute to resilience planning, multi-agency exercises, and representation at networks to influence outcomes; provide strategic and operational leadership of the Public Health Directorate, including team management and development; work with council services and partners to deliver joined-up public health initiatives and effective commissioning; hybrid working with office base in Norwich and the option for remote work depending on role.
