Job Summary
The Public Health Preparedness Field Coordinator in District 9 will actively communicate with the Regional Supervisor regarding challenges and needs of health departments, participate in emergency preparedness meetings, and assist in tracking grant deliverables and reporting requirements. The role requires a strong understanding of emergency preparedness policies and the ability to effectively guide local partners in preparedness activities. Responsibilities include coordinating Medical Countermeasure readiness reviews and ensuring timely reporting of meeting outcomes. Familiarity with relevant guidance from CDC and other bodies is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Strong familiarity and understanding with IDOH Division of Emergency Preparedness policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to local partners
- Experience in tracking grant deliverable progress
- Proficient in completing reports and meeting summaries

- Must communicate needs for guidance or training to supervisors
