Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive reproductive health care including physical assessments, pelvic and breast exams, colposcopy services, and limited acute care. Deliver pregnancy options counseling and prescribe medications while interpreting diagnostic tests within the clinic setting. Contribute to clinical protocol development and provide patient education on diverse health topics. Perform sports and work physicals alongside routine gynecological care. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm with a late Wednesday clinic through 6:00pm. Earn $70.00 per hour as a 1099 contractor for a 13-week term at Wyandotte County Public Health Department.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse with an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) License
- Active and unencumbered license and be licensed as an APRN/NP to practice Nursing in the state of Kansas
- Experience in reproductive health (family planning, OB/GYN, or women's health)
- Must be able to work with a diverse client population
- Must be able to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Must be able to exercise judgment and refer clients as needed
- BLS certification
- Strong communication skills
