Job Summary
Conduct population-focused health and safety interventions in Robeson County by identifying high-risk community aggregates and delivering targeted services with community cooperation. Provide diabetes self-management education and fetal heart rate monitoring while collaborating with other disciplines to improve local health outcomes. Maintain a valid North Carolina driver's license and pass pre-employment drug testing, motor vehicle records checks, and random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident testing. Submit to a criminal background check completed by the County of Robeson. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, which includes a Public Health Nursing rotation and one year of experience in Public Health Nursing
- Master's in Public Health and graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing and one year of professional nursing experience
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing and two years of professional nursing experience including one year of public health nursing experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Special training in diabetes self-management education
- Special training in fetal heart rate monitoring
- Registered Nursing license
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to take and successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
- Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records driver license check
- Ability to submit to random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to have a criminal background check completed by the County of Robeson
