Public Health Educator

Job Summary
Develop and implement health education strategies and programs for the FCP Community, partnering with Tribal and Local entities to address community health priorities. Coordinate Public Health Accreditation, Emergency Preparedness grants, and response activities while gathering data for program evaluation. Design educational initiatives, organize emergency preparedness training, and lead coordination efforts during public health emergencies. Maintain departmental plans including Community Health Assessments and Strategic Plans. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, three years of experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Health Education, Health Promotion or other related field
- Three (3) years of experience in Public Health or Community based setting
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Eligible for coverage under the Tribe's Insurance
- Must successfully pass all applicable background checks
- Must successfully pass all applicable drug screens
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
- Experience with Public Health Accreditation
- Experience with Emergency Preparedness
