Job Summary
Support the ACT CYSHCN COE by assisting with program planning, implementation, and evaluation, while preparing materials such as research summaries and public-facing documents. Engage with stakeholders including Local Health Department staff and families to strengthen services for children and youth with special health care needs. Manage information systems, synthesize data, and produce project reports alongside event logistics and needs assessment travel across New York State.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree and up to 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strategies to ensure tasks are completed, including following up with team members, as needed
- Attentive to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Ability to handle the demands of deadlines
- Ability to seamlessly move between changing priorities
- Ability to initiate own work schedule
- Ability to solve problems
- Demonstration of initiative
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Experience with Windows Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

- Experience working with people from all socioeconomic backgrounds
- Ability to incorporate the perspectives of multiple communities, with respect to inclusion and belonging

- Valid US driver's license
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle (your own vehicle or Cornell-owned) to travel to/from job sites
- Legal authorization to work in US without sponsorship
