Job Summary
Lead deal origination, structuring, and execution for clients across the senior living and long-term care sector by building relationships with providers, not-for-profit sponsors, and issuers. Identify new business opportunities, engage leaders in consultative discussions regarding capital needs and growth plans, and oversee financial modeling to optimize debt transactions. Manage day-to-day client relationships, mentor Associates and Analysts, and provide strategic advisory on capital raising and long-term financial planning. Maintain deep market intelligence on trends and regulatory developments while collaborating with internal capital markets and credit teams. This role offers flexibility across regional offices and requires 7+ years of relevant experience in investment banking or senior living finance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
- 7+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, public finance, municipal advisory, senior living, long-term care, healthcare finance, consulting, development, or a related field
- Familiarity with senior living and long-term care operating models, capital needs, debt structures, and the financing considerations affecting nonprofit and other healthcare providers
- Proven track record of client relationship management and successful transaction execution
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Series 52 and 63 and 7 licenses required or willingness to obtain
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing junior team members
Desired Qualifications
- MBA a plus
- Experience with tax-exempt bonds, taxable debt, bank financing, private placements, or municipal finance is preferred but not required for candidates with relevant industry experience
