Public Cloud Support Engineer (Sénior)

Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain IaaS and PaaS services across multi-cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and ARM/Bicep. Provide end-to-end support, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize cloud environments while performing root-cause analysis and incident resolution. Leverage scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate operational tasks and ensure security and performance standards. This role integrates directly with the internal team in Lisbon to address customer challenges and build stronger digital solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience (minimum of 4-6 years) in cloud engineering/support, including hands-on experience across at least two of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Design, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of IaaS and PaaS services in multi-cloud environments
- Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation)
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and operational tasks
- Provide support, troubleshoot, and optimize environments across Azure, AWS, and GCP, ensuring availability, performance, and security
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, performing root-cause analysis and incident resolution
- Knowledge of identity and access management, networking, and cloud security best practices
- Diagnosing and resolving complex cloud-related issues
- 12th degree (minimum) or University degree in IT-related field
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in public cloud engineering/support
- Proven hands-on experience with at least two of the following: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform
- Solid experience with IaaS and PaaS services, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation)
- Experience building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- At least one professional-level cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect)
- Good level of English (written and spoken)
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications in more than one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)
- Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of cloud cost optimization (FinOps) practices
