Job Summary

Public Assistance (PA) Project Delivery Manager at AECOM leads FEMA PA program work for clients from disaster declaration through funding, developing project worksheets, coordinating with architects/engineers/construction managers, tracking progress via the FEMA Grants Portal, and delivering program-specific guidance while ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables in alignment with AECOM standards. Responsibilities include guiding clients through PA programs, applying 44 CFR and related guidelines, evaluating documentation for eligibility and cost reasonableness, coordinating information requests and appeals, managing project timelines, and communicating with FEMA/state officers and sub-recipients. The role may be contingent and involves leading project teams, enabling effective client service, and delivering on multi-disaster PA efforts with strong focus on compliance, data integrity, and process improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited university
  • 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent
  • Experience delivering PA Assistance on at two or more previous disasters
  • Experience with FEMAPA Categories and PW development
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
