Job Summary
Maintain overall cleanliness of guest hallways, corridors, vending areas, and elevators on guest floors to meet hotel standards. Assist Room Attendants by ensuring they have necessary linen and supplies, and deliver requests to guests. Walk and stand 100% of the time while pushing a housekeeping cart regularly, reaching overhead and below the knees. Perform light to moderately heavy housekeeping duties using approved chemicals and equipment. Work variable schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing
- Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive and equitable working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members
- High School education or GED
- basic reading and writing skills
- Walking and standing 100% of the time
- Ability to push housekeeping cart regularly
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, and pulling
- Ability to perform light to moderately heavy housekeeping duties using the approved chemicals and equipment
Desired Qualifications
- One year experience cleaning at a hotel or commercial building
