Job Summary
Public Area Attendant responsible for cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas including lobby, restrooms, hallways, corridors, and the front entrance. Key duties include thoroughly cleaning sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and floors with appropriate cleaning agents; dusting furniture and fixtures; cleaning and polishing metal surfaces; and performing other duties as assigned while ensuring guest satisfaction. Requires basic sanitation knowledge, familiarity with brand standards and corporate safety policies, and the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move continuously during cleaning tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Must have basic knowledge of sanitation requirements/controls and applications of relevant chemicals.
- Must have knowledge of brand standards and Corporate policies applicable to housekeeping, especially those relating to safety and security of guest and hotel property.
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and move continuously to clean rooms.
