Job Summary
Public and Media Relations Vice President within Morgan Stanley's Corporate Communications team to design and execute communications strategy for Investment Banking and Capital Markets divisions, serving as a media liaison, developing press materials, managing inquiries, and safeguarding reputational risk. Responsibilities include pitching story ideas, coordinating interviews with executives, serving as a media spokesperson when appropriate, tracking coverage and metrics, coordinating with international colleagues and digital platforms, and providing strategic communications support for transactions and announcements.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience in managing media in the financial services sector
- A high degree of familiarity with media outlets and reporters that focus on the deal landscape, M&A and capital markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to provide effective editorial and messaging guidance
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail with solid organization and time management skills
