Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations by managing opening and closing procedures, acting as Manager on Duty, and ensuring all crew members deliver the B.E.S.T. customer service experience. Direct staff through onboarding and training while driving sales through optimized merchandising and expense control. Handle receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock, including moving merchandise up to 25 lbs and stocking shelves up to 10 feet. Perform store maintenance tasks such as cleaning bathrooms and sweeping, while frequently operating the cash register and communicating with customers and team members. Work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
