Job Summary
Accounts Payable Analyst III responsible for maintaining financial accuracy and efficiency across Thermo Fisher Scientific operations. The role processes and validates financial documents, manages vendor accounts, ensures compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, provides excellent customer service, collaborates with cross-functional teams, analyzes financial data, and drives process improvements to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. The position emphasizes ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle/JD Edwards), strong accounting principles, attention to detail, and a proactive, compliant approach to financial operations.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or accounts payable
- Preferred Fields of Study: Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
- Professional accounting certifications (such as Boki 2nd Grade or equivalent) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Professional fluency in English (B2 level or higher)
- Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion) preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Professional customer service skills and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Process improvement mindset with ability to identify and implement efficiencies
- Collaboration skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated commitment to compliance and ethical business practices
