PTC Windchill Application Manager

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end implementation of the new Infrastructure PLM platform using PTC Windchill, coordinating business stakeholders, engineering teams, system integrators, and vendors to ensure successful production deployment. Manage detailed implementation schedules, track risks and dependencies, and facilitate cross-functional planning sessions across engineering, data, security, and business teams. Execute full lifecycle phases including requirements validation, solution design, configuration, integration, data migration, testing, and deployment, while driving readiness for production go-live and hypercare support. This project-based engagement supports a strategic transformation to modernize the engineering ecosystem without impacting ongoing production support for existing Windchill, Modello, and MDM systems. Following successful stabilization, ownership transitions to the permanent application team, concluding the time-bound implementation role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- 8+ years of enterprise application management or implementation experience
- 5+ years supporting or implementing PTC Windchill solutions
- Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- Strong understanding of Engineering Change Management
- Strong understanding of Product structures
- Strong understanding of Part management
- Strong understanding of Product master data
- Experience managing enterprise application implementations from initiation through production deployment
- Experience coordinating system integrations and enterprise application deployments
- Strong knowledge of Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience implementing large-scale enterprise PLM transformations
- Knowledge of MDM, ERP, sourcing, procurement, and manufacturing integrations
- Experience working with system integrators and global delivery teams
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, and API-based integrations
- PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, ITIL, or equivalent certification
- PTC Windchill certification is preferred
