Job Summary
Provide therapy to patients and clients of all age groups under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist, delivering services ordered by physicians according to the plan of care. Administer non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction, and various modalities including heat, light, cold, water, and electrical treatments. Maintain infection control standards, complete appropriate documentation, and provide education to patients, caregivers, and third-party payors. Accept clinical assignments consistent with education and competence while meeting mandatory continuing education and QAPI program requirements. Requires a current state license, Associate Degree in Physical Therapy, and one year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current State License or multi-state license issued by a state member of the Physical Therapist Licensure compact (PTLC)
- Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy
- Reliable transportation
- Current driver's license and valid auto liability insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience preferably in Home Health Care setting
- One year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant preferred
