Job Summary
Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients with various conditions, including geriatrics and those requiring acute care. Monitor patient progress, report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on exercises to enhance recovery. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and ensure a safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols while collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Work across Stafford and Fredericksburg in a home health setting with a flexible schedule.
Required Qualifications
- CPR Certification
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices
- Experience or knowledge in specific areas such as outpatient services, inpatient care, skilled nursing facilities, and geriatrics
