PTA - Physical Therapy Assistant

PTA role providing physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a SNF/long-term care setting. Responsibilities include identifying appropriate patients for therapy in coordination with the PT, collaborating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes, maintaining documentation to meet regulatory requirements, and ensuring physician orders are current. Qualifications include an Associate’s degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program, current PTA license in the state of practice, strong communication/organizational skills, and mentorship opportunities for new grads.
