Job Summary
Administer skilled physical therapy treatments as developed by a Registered Physical Therapist and assist in planning, developing, and carrying out treatment programs for residents. Write observations of resident behavior and progress in progress notes, maintain statistical records and departmental reports, and assist with in-service training programs. Keep supplies in good order and perform daily sanitation of equipment while utilizing the electronic timekeeping system. Adhere to confidentiality standards, dress code, and service excellence goals. Requires a New York State license, valid CPR/BLS credentials, and English proficiency at an intermediate or advanced level. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a physical therapy assistant approved program
- New York State license to practice
- Current, valid CPR/BLS credentials
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
