Job Summary
Assist the Physical Therapist in planning, developing, and carrying out treatment programs and procedures for residents. Write observations of resident behavior and progress in Progress Notes. Maintain statistical records and departmental reports, assist with in-service training programs, and keep supplies in good order while performing daily sanitation of equipment. Arrive on time, regularly, and as scheduled, utilizing the electronic timekeeping system while observing resident confidentiality and following facility dress codes. Perform assigned duties according to service excellence standards. Requires a current New York State license, valid CPR/BLS certification, and an accredited PTA program graduation. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a physical therapy assistant approved program
- New York State license to practice
- Current, valid CPR/BLS credentials
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level
- Current New York State Physical Therapist Assistant License
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
