Job Summary
PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works alongside Physical Therapists to develop and implement rehabilitation-focused therapy programs, directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery, and to document care and communicate patient progress. The role collaborates with the care team to deliver well-rounded services and requires an accredited PTA program graduate with a Florida PTA license; SNF experience is preferred. The position emphasizes strong customer service, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, and successful completion of level 2 fingerprinting as part of a background screening per House Bill 531 (2025) requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Current FL PTA license
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Proven excellent customer service and patient care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status
