Job Summary
PRN PTA Physical Therapist Assistant position supporting physical therapy programs and rehabilitation efforts. Responsibilities include developing and implementing therapy programs with Physical Therapists, direct patient interaction to promote recovery, assessing therapy effects and communicating progress, recording and documenting patient care, and collaborating with the care team to ensure well-rounded care. Requires graduation from an accredited PTA program, state PTA license, ability to pass level 2 fingerprinting, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with strong customer service and patient care skills.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current State PTA license
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred but not required if you are a new graduate of an accredited program
- Proven excellent customer service and patient care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
