Job Summary
PT Weld Machine Operator responsible for efficiently operating welders and other machines, inspecting parts, and maintaining organized work areas. Tasks include assisting with job setups, performing preventive maintenance, training associates, and ensuring safety compliance. Proficient use of measuring tools like calipers and micrometers is required, along with a solid understanding of the Plex system. Workers must exhibit strong work ethic by being timely and producing quality work while adhering to safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Responsible for running various welders and other machines efficiently
- Inspecting parts and keeping work areas organized and clean
- Assisting in setting up work centers following work instructions
- Performing Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) programs
- Providing effective training to other associates
- Fluency in Plex system
- Completing rate sheets and submitting them in a timely manner
- Knowing and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
- Participating in lean manufacturing programs
